Medical Disclaimer
babybumpkit publishes free pregnancy calculators and accompanying educational articles. The information is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice.
Our calculators are estimates
Every calculator on this site implements standard medical formulas, such as the 266-day conception-to-birth estimate or the LMP-based Naegele's rule. These formulas are well established but they are averages: pregnancies vary, and your due date can shift by up to two weeks based on factors a calculator can't see — like cycle length irregularity, fetal size, and individual biology.
Only an ultrasound dating scan and your healthcare provider can confirm your pregnancy timeline. We never claim “100% accurate results.”
When to call your healthcare provider
Please contact a qualified healthcare professional immediately if you experience symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, sudden swelling, severe headaches, blurred vision, or reduced fetal movement. Do not use this website to make decisions about urgent medical care.
For non-urgent questions about your pregnancy, your provider, midwife, or local public-health helpline (for example NHS 111 in the UK) is the right place to start.
Sources we rely on
Our calculators and articles are grounded in guidance from major medical bodies, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Mayo Clinic, the UK's National Health Service (NHS), and NIH MedlinePlus. Each tool page links the specific source for its formulas in the “Sources and medical references” section.
No doctor-patient relationship
Reading content on babybumpkit or using its calculators does not create a doctor-patient or any other professional relationship between you and the site or its operators. We are not your provider.
